Freen-BSA-L All-in-one ESS

The Freen-BSA-L is a complete outdoor sodium-ion energy storage system engineered for commercial, industrial and agricultural sites that need serious capacity without a building to put it in. Battery, power conversion, energy management, liquid cooling and fire suppression all live inside one weatherproof enclosure, so what arrives on site is a finished system rather than a set of components.

Built on advanced NFPP sodium-ion chemistry, it delivers the thermal stability and long service life of the Na-ion platform without lithium, cobalt or nickel. Unlike a modular battery bank, the BSA-L needs only a foundation, a cable and an earth connection: no technical room, no forced ventilation, no separate inverter to specify.

Everything in One Enclosure

Battery modules, BMS, 100 kW power conversion, EMS, intelligent liquid cooling and two-level aerosol fire suppression are integrated and pre-commissioned. Site work is reduced to civil works and connection.

Extended Service Life

Rated for more than 10,000 full cycles at 25 ± 2 °C and 0.5P, measured to 70 % end-of-life capacity. That is roughly double the cycle life of a comparable lithium iron phosphate cabinet, and it is the number that decides cost of ownership over twenty years.

Built for the Outdoors, Including the Coast

IP54 protection and C4 anti-corrosion class, operating from −25 °C to +55 °C. Ports, coastal sites and exposed industrial yards need no shelter and no climate control.

High System Efficiency

Round-trip efficiency above 97 %, with voltage distortion below 3 % at full load and a power factor adjustable from −0.99 to +0.99. The cabinet meets network operators’ power quality requirements as delivered.

Scalable to Half a Megawatt-Hour

A single unit provides 115.2 kWh. Up to five cabinets operate in parallel, giving 576 kWh and 500 kW of power under one energy management system.

Engineered Safety and System Management

The BSA-L uses a 48-cell passive balancing module with full protection against overcharge, over-discharge and overheating, backed by multi-stage fuse protection and hardware self-diagnostics.

The NFPP cathode is the foundation of all of this. Its phosphate framework changes volume by less than four percent across thousands of cycles, which practically eliminates particle degradation and internal short circuits, and it does not release oxygen at high charge voltage, so there is nothing to feed a fire.
